Hi!

I'm really happy to see this coming, and also hope that Kate will get the
same ability. Totally agree that dark editors are popular now, and IMHO
they look really cool ;)

I Wanted a dark colorscheme to the editor so I wrote one last summer. You
can found it attached to this message. It's not ready and definitely not
very well thought, but I still hope it is somehow useful.

Hi,

at https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/127936/ I uploaded the Breeze
Dark color scheme. The screenshot you can see there is only Kate (no
additional hl for KDevelop). I've tested this quite thoroughly and
tuned the colors quite a lot to get a nice look. It certainly can be
improved more, see my comment on the review request.

But all in all I am quite confident that we can commit this after
fixing the remaining issues I have listed.

Not really, but for an environment that calls itself plasma I do find it odd that it doesn't come with a standard plasma screen ^^
