I do a lots CUDA development using my own hand role modification of kate
and cmake

I read some place on the web that kdevelop version 5.2 will support CUDA
directly.

I was wondering how far along is the CUDA support and how can I get a copy
of it.

Thanks
Michael

Heya,

yes, there will be initial CUDA support with KDevelop 5.2. See these patches
for an intro:
https://phabricator.kde.org/D5072

We haven't blogged about the feature yet.

No prebuild binaries available for 5.2 yet, but you can always just compile
KDevelop from source:
https://community.kde.org/KDevelop/HowToCompile_v5

Hope that helps,
Kevin

Hi,

That initial support isn't really worth a post in my point of view. I
planned to write something after the more useful one (
https://phabricator.kde.org/D5210) is merged. However it's somewhat stalled
for now. @Milian said it isn't good architecture-wise. He must be right
since I'm not familiar with the compiler part of KDevelop. I tried to
figure things out but without his reply I'm not sure how to proceed.

Cheers,
Aetf
